Stuck on something? Ask a person.
FeatFrame is a small app with a small team behind it. There is no ticket queue and no phone tree — one email address, read by the people who wrote the code.
Email us
Tell us what you were doing, what happened instead, and which iPhone or iPad you are on. That usually saves a round trip.
[email protected]We aim to reply within a few working days. If you are writing about a purchase, mention whether you bought monthly, yearly or lifetime.
Before you write
The things people ask first
Do I need a signal to record?
No. Recording works fully offline — the camera, the frames and the session timer never wait on a network. Session stats sync later, whenever you are back online.
Do my videos get uploaded anywhere?
Exported videos never leave your device, on any plan. On the free plan neither do your frames — the only thing that syncs is session stats, meaning the activity name, when you worked and for how long. On a paid plan the frames of each recording are also backed up to your account, in private storage nobody else can reach, so your footage survives a lost phone.
What happens to my backed-up frames if I cancel?
New recordings stop being backed up straight away, and the frames already stored are kept for 60 days before being deleted. Resubscribe within that window and nothing is lost. The copies on your own phone are never touched either way.
Why is my focus time lower than the clock says?
Focus time is counted from frames actually captured, not from wall-clock time. If you switch away from FeatFrame the camera stops, so the count pauses with it. Leave the app in the foreground and prop the phone up for the session to be counted in full.
Do I need an account to record?
No. Install it, pick an activity and record — the whole app works as a guest. If you sign in later with email, Google or Apple, the history you already built is carried over to that account.
Is there a watermark on exports?
On the free version, yes — a small mark naming the app and how long the session ran, and exports are capped in length. Pro removes both. Pro is sold monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
I already paid — how do I get Pro back?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so they follow your Apple Account rather than the app. Open the paywall screen and use the Restore option; a previous purchase on the same Apple Account comes straight back. If it does not, email us.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Subscriptions live with Apple, not with us — we cannot cancel one on your behalf. On your device, open Settings, tap your Apple Account, then Subscriptions, and change or cancel FeatFrame there.
Which permissions does the app need?
Camera permission is required to record — without it there are no frames, so there is no session. Photo library (add) permission is only asked for when you save an exported video, and nothing else needs it.
Account & data
Your history, and how to end it
Deleting your account
Delete your account from Settings in the app, or email us from the address your account uses. Deletion is scheduled seven days out, and simply signing back in during that window cancels it.
After that the account and its synced session history are gone. Your frames and exported videos are not affected, because they were never on our servers — they stay on the device and in your photo library until you delete them yourself.
What we store
Session stats and, if you made an account, the details you signed in with. No frames, no video, no location.
